Do not take Aluminum Hydroxide/Magnesium Hydroxide Solution if you:
• You are allergic to aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide.
• You feel very weak and lack energy.
• You have kidney problems.
• You have severe stomach pain.
Warnings and Precautions:
Use caution when using Aluminum Hydroxide/Magnesium Hydroxide.
If you are on a low-phosphorus diet. Possible side effects:
• Red, bumpy skin rash, swelling of the eyelids, face, lips, mouth, or tongue, itching, and difficulty breathing or swallowing. This could be an allergic reaction.
Other medications and aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide suspension:
Aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide should not be taken at the same time as other medications.
How to take aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide suspension:
- Shake the bottle well before use to ensure the product is properly mixed.
- Take this medication by mouth.
Adults, the elderly, and children 14 years and older:
• Take 2 to 4 5 mL teaspoonfuls.
• Take the medication 20 minutes to 1 hour after meals and at bedtime.
How to store aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide suspension:
Keep this medication out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide suspension after the expiration date printed on the carton and bottle.
Dispose of any unused medication 6 months after opening the bottle.
Store below 25°C.
Do not dispose of medications via wastewater or household waste.
