How diclofenac works
Diclofenac belongs to a group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by:
Inhibition of the action of cyclooxygenase COX-1 and COX - 2, thereby inhibiting the formation of prostaglandins
It may also inhibit the aggregation / activation of nitrophil cells, inhibit the movement of proinflammatory cells, also reduce the level of proinflammatory cytokine, and alter the activity of lymphocytes
Medical uses of ABO diclo tablets
Joint, muscle or tendon pain
Gout attacks are a common form of arthritis that is very painful. It usually affects one joint at a time (most often the big toe joint).

How to use APO-diclo tablets
Take it as indicated by your doctor.
Take the medicine with or immediately after a meal.
The usual dose is 25-50 mg two or three times a day.
In mild cases, as well as in long-term treatment, 75 mg to 100 mg every other day is usually sufficient.
Do not take more than 150 mg per day.
For children consult your doctor before using diclofenac
Doses can be changed in special circumstances, so always follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital right away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it's time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, loss of appetite
Headache, dizziness
Skin rashes or spots
Elevated levels of liver enzymes in the blood.
Rapid or irregular heartbeat (palpitations), chest pain, heart disorders, including heart attack or shortness of breath.
Difficulty breathing when lying down, swollen feet or legs (signs of heart failure), especially if you have been taking a higher dose (150 mg per day) for a long time.
Stomach ulcer or bleeding (very rare cases have been reported)

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you are pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Stop taking the tablets and tell your doctor immediately if you notice:
Sudden chest pain (signs of myocardial infarction or heart attack)
Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing when lying down, swollen feet or legs (signs of heart failure)
Sudden weakness or numbness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body.
Sudden loss or disturbance of vision.
Sudden difficulty speaking or being able to understand speech; sudden migraine-like headache that occurs for the first time with or without disturbed vision. These symptoms can be an early sign of a stroke.
Stomach pain, indigestion, nausea (feeling nauseous) or vomiting (illness)
Any sign of bleeding in the stomach or intestines, for example, when emptying your intestines
Blood in vomit or black feces
Allergic reactions can include skin rash, itching, bruising, painful red areas, peeling or blistering
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any of the following:
Medicines for the treatment of diabetes
Anticoagulants (blood-thinning tablets such as warfarin)
Diuretics (water tablets)
Lithium (used to treat some mental problems).
Methotrexate (for some inflammatory diseases and some cancers)
Cyclosporine and tacrolimus (used to treat some inflammatory diseases and after transplantation)
Trimethoprim (a drug used to prevent or treat urinary tract infections)
Quinolone antibiotics (for infections).
Any other NSAID inhibitor, for example, aspirin or ibuprofen
Cardiac glycosides (for example digoxin), used to treat heart problems
Medications known as SSRIs used to treat depression
Oral cortisone (anti-inflammatory drug)
Drugs used to treat heart disease or high blood pressure, for example, beta-blockers or ACE inhibitors
Voriconazole (a drug used to treat fungal infections)
Phenytoin (a drug used to treat seizures)
Colestipol / colestyramine (used to lower cholesterol)
How to save Abu diclo tablets
Keep at a temperature below 30 degrees Celsius
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Storage should be in the original can to protect it from moisture.
Do not use this medicine after the expiration date indicated on the package / blister / label. The expiration date refers to the last day of the month.
