Guaifenesin/dextromethorphan is used to treat coughs that contain mucus (productive cough).

Do not take guaifenesin/dextromethorphan.

• If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medication.
• If you are taking MAOIs or have taken them for at least two weeks.

Warnings and Precautions

Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including if you have:
• If you have a long-term cough due to asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
• If you have a cough with a lot of mucus.
If you have a cough for more than 7 days or if you have other symptoms, contact your doctor.

Possible Side Effects

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; itching; red, blistering, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency with which these side effects occur is unknown.

Side effects include:
• Drowsiness
• Stomach pain
• Nausea
• Vomiting

• Children 6-11 years of age: 5 mL every 4 hours.
