• If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medication.
Warnings and Precautions:
• Tell your doctor about all your health conditions.
• Tell your doctor if you are allergic to sulfites.
• It is important to use sunscreen while using hydroquinone. It can affect the effect of this medication.
• Test the cream on a small area of your skin before using it on larger areas.
• Hydroquinone may cause a gradual darkening of the skin to a bluish-black color. If this occurs, stop using it and consult your doctor.
Possible Side Effects:
Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; itching; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency with which these side effects occur is unknown.

How to use hydroquinone:
• This medication is for adults and children 12 years and older.
• Use this medication as directed by your doctor.
• This medication is for use on the skin only. Keep away from the mouth, nose, and eyes.
• Wash your hands before and after use.
• Apply a thin layer to the skin twice daily, in the morning and at bedtime.
How to store hydroquinone:
• Store at room temperature between 68 and 77°F (20 and 25°C).
• Keep this medication out of reach of children.
• Do not use this medication after the expiration date printed on the carton.
The dosage and method of administration of hydroquinone 4% cream should be determined individually for each patient based on the therapeutic indication and severity of the disease.
