How to Use Tretinoin:
Gently wash your skin with a mild, non-medicated soap two to three times daily, then pat dry with a towel. Allow your skin to dry for 20 to 30 minutes before applying the medication. Avoid washing the affected area too frequently and do not use harsh scrubs. Acne isn't caused by dirt, so excessive washing and scrubbing won't clear it up. Washing too frequently or scrubbing too harshly may worsen your acne.
Make sure you use your cream exactly as your doctor prescribed for best results. Be patient during your treatment, as this medication may take some time to start working.
