What is Amorphous Aescin and what is it used for?

This medicine is used to treat localized swelling and congestion caused by injuries.

Do not take Amorphous Aescin:

If you are allergic to amorphous aescin or any of the ingredients in this medicine. Tell your doctor about the allergy and any signs you experience.

If you have kidney problems or kidney failure.

If your healthcare provider has told you that you have lactase deficiency, galactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, fructose intolerance, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency (this product contains lactose and sucrose).

Warnings and Precautions:

Stop taking this medication immediately and talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you experience allergic reactions such as shortness of breath, rash, swelling of the face or neck, low blood pressure, or dizziness.

Talk to your doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve.

Possible Side Effects:

Although rare, some patients may experience unwanted side effects when taking this medication.

Contact your healthcare provider if you experience any side effects. Tell your doctor or get medical help right away if you experience signs of an allergic reaction, such as skin rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. Uncommon side effects of this medication include gastrointestinal (stomach and intestinal) problems. Other medicines and Amorphous Aescin:

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, herbal products, vitamins, and supplements.

Do not take Amorphous Aescin:

If you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners).

If you are taking certain types of antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections (such as ampicillin and cephalothin; and aminoglycosides such as gentamicin).

How to take Amorphous Aescin:

Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age

The recommended initial dose is two tablets orally three times a day. The recommended dose for mild cases
or as a maintenance dose is one tablet orally three times a day.

Children aged 7 to 14 years

The recommended dose is one tablet orally two or three times daily.

Children under 7 years of age

Not recommended for use in children under 7 years of age.

Take the tablet after meals with some liquid.

Take the medication for 2-3 months or as recommended by your healthcare provider.

How to store Acetin Amorphous:

Keep the medication out of the reach of children and pets.

Store the medication at room temperature (below 25°C).

Do not use the medication after the expiry date shown on the carton.

Keep the medication in its original package to protect it from moisture and light.

Do not use damaged medications.
