Chlorpheniramine Maleate is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as skin rash, itching, redness, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.

Do not take Chlorpheniramine Maleate.

• If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

• If you have closed-angle glaucoma.

• If you have symptoms of an enlarged prostate.

• If you have a urinary obstruction/are unable to urinate.

• If you have a bowel obstruction/are unable to defecate.

• During a severe asthma attack.

• If you are taking or have recently taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressant.

Warnings and Precautions

Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including if you have:

• Seizures or epilepsy.

• Liver or kidney disease.

• Asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

• Thyroid dysfunction.

• Cardiovascular problems such as high blood pressure and ischemic heart disease.

• Urinary tract problems.

Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication.

Possible Side Effects

Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience tightness in the throat, swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing. Stop using the product if you experience hives or itching of the face or body.

• For children 6-12 years of age, take 2 mg every 6 hours. Do not exceed 12 mg in 24 hours.

• For children under 2-6 years of age, take 1 mg every 6 hours. Do not exceed 6 mg in 24 hours.

How to store chlorpheniramine maleate

• Store this medication at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C) in a dry place.

• Keep this medication out of the reach of children.

• Do not use this medication after the expiration date printed on the carton.
