Omol Extra is a nonprescription medicine that contains two active ingredients, paracetamol and caffeine. Paracetamol is a pain reliever and also reduces your temperature when you have a fever. Caffeine increases the effectiveness of paracetamol. Omol Extra is used to relieve headaches, migraines, back pain, rheumatic pain, muscle pain, neuralgia, and pain Dental and menstrual pain. Also, Omol Extra pills relieve the feeling of discomfort in colds, flu and sore throats and helps reduce the temperature.

2. What you need to know before using Omol Extra tablets:

Do not take Omol Extra tablets in the following cases:

You should not take Omol Extra if you have or have ever had an allergic reaction to paracetamol, caffeine or any of the other ingredients (listed in section 6).

Omol Extra should not be taken if you are taking other medicines that contain paracetamol.

You should not take Omol Extra if you are under 12 years old.

What are the precautions and warnings for Omol Extra capsules?

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before you start taking Omol Extra if you:

Do not take Omol Extra if you have liver or kidney disease, including alcoholic liver disease.

Do not take Omol Extra if you are underweight or malnourished.

Do not use Omol Extra capsules if you regularly drink alcohol.

You have severe inflammation as this may increase your risk of developing metabolic acidosis.

Signs of metabolic acidosis include:

Deep, difficult and frequent breathing.

3. What is the way to use Omol Extra?

For adults, the elderly, and children 16 years of age or older:

Take 2 tablets of Omol Extra with water and up to 4 times daily as needed.

Children aged 12 to 15 years:

Take one Omol Extra tablet with water, up to 4 times daily, as needed.

Do not take Omol Extra more frequently than every 4 hours.

Do not take more than 8 tablets of Omol Extra in 24 hours.

Do not take Omol Extra more than the recommended dose.

If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

Prolonged use except under medical supervision may be harmful.

Avoid excessive caffeine in drinks such as coffee and tea. Excessive caffeine intake can cause difficulty sleeping, tremors, and chest discomfort.

Always use the lowest effective dose to relieve symptoms.

If symptoms persist or your headache persists, see your doctor.

If you take a lot of tablets.

Seek immediate medical advice in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well, due to the risk of delayed and serious liver damage.

4. What are the possible side effects of Omol Extra 500 mg/65 mg?

Like all medicines, Omol Extra 500 mg/65 mg can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Very rare cases of serious skin reactions to Omol Extra 500 mg/65 mg have been reported. If you experience any of the following effects, stop taking Omol Extra 500 mg/65 mg and refer to your doctor immediately:-

Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, sometimes with breathing problems or swelling of the lips, tongue, throat or face.
