Folic acid has also been suggested to reduce the risk of: pregnancy complications, heart disease, and stroke.

Directions for Use:

1 mg per day for 4 months, which can be increased to a maximum of 15 mg per day.

Warnings and Precautions:

Do not take folic acid tablets and tell your doctor if you have:
An allergy (hypersensitivity) to folic acid or any of the other ingredients in the tablets (see section 6)
Untreated vitamin B12 deficiency, such as in some types of anemia and lifelong vegetarians
Pernicious anemia (a form of anemia caused by vitamin B12 deficiency) or another condition caused by vitamin B12 deficiency
