  • Mefenamic Acid is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain including headache, toothache, muscle ache, backache, and menstrual cramps.
  • It is also used to temporarily reduce fever.

 

Method Of Administration Of Fenam Syrup

  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
  • Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Doses may change from patient to patient based on your age, your medical condition, and whether or not you are taking other medicines.
  • The oral syrup is for children.
  • Take it with or right after a meal.
  • Measure liquid doses carefully.
  • Dosing in children depends on the child’s weight. The range is 5-15 mL, 3 times a day.
  • Do not use Mefenamic Acid for a long period.
  • Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
