Product Description
A valid prescription must be presented upon receipt of the order.

What is the medicine Microlot and what are the indications for its use?
Microlut contains oral progestogen levonorgestrel at a very low dose. This progestogen-only contraceptive preparation is also called the "mini-pill".
The pregnancy rate of a progestogen-only contraceptive such as Microlut is slightly higher than that of progestogen-estrogen contraceptives (combined “birth control pills”), however, Microlut provides a high degree of reliability when taken correctly and the chance of pregnancy is very low. .

How does Microlut work?
Continuous daily consumption of one Microlut tablet prevents pregnancy in several different ways:
Changes in cervical mucus, which makes the migration and ascent of sperm difficult, and changes in the lining of the uterus.
Obstruction of mid-cycle functions, which may contribute to the contraceptive action.
Microlut does not prevent the release of eggs in the majority of women, but Microlut has an effect on the hormonal regulation circuit, which may contribute to contraceptive action.

Indications for use Microlut:
Microlut is used to prevent pregnancy, but it does not protect against HIV infection (AIDS) and other sexually transmitted diseases.

Contraindications to the use of Microlut:
If you have a disorder that affects your circulation, especially those conditions related to clotting. Thrombosis is the formation of a blood clot. This may occur in the blood vessels of the legs (deep vein thrombosis), the lungs (pulmonary embolism), the heart (heart attack), the brain (stroke), or other parts of the body.
if you have or have ever had a condition that may be a first sign of a heart attack (such as angina or chest pain) or a stroke (such as a transient ischemic attack or reversible mini-stroke)
If you have or have ever had severe liver disease and liver function values have not returned to normal (symptoms of liver disease include yellowing of the skin and/or itching of the whole body)
If you have diabetes with vascular damage
If you have high levels of cholesterol or triglycerides in your blood (a fatty substance)
If you have or have ever had breast or genital cancer
If you have or have had a benign or malignant liver tumor
If you suffer from unexplained vaginal bleeding
If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant
If you have had an ectopic pregnancy in the past
