What L-Ornithine L-Aspartate is used for:This medication is indicated in following liver disorders:
• Acute Hepatitis (viral, non-viral, drug induced)• Chronic hepatitis (with or without hyperammonaemia)• Cirrhosis of liver• Fatty liver with hyperammonaemia• Hepatic encephalopathy• As an adjuvant therapy with all hepatotoxic drugs
Do not take L-Ornithine L-Aspartate:
• If you have apparent renal dysfunction (with creatinine level exceeding 3 mg/100 ml of blood plasma).Warnings and precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you:• You have severe renal insufficiency: blood urea and serum creatinine must be monitored regularly.• nausea or vomiting occurs, it is necessary to optimize the infusion speed.Preparation is prescribed with prudence to patients, involved in potentially dangerous activities, demanding increased reaction and quickness of psychomotor action.

How to take L-Ornithine L-Aspartate:
Adults
• In Acute Hepatitis: 1-2 ampoules a day. • In Chronic hepatitis and Hepatic cirrhosis: 2-4 ampoules a day.• In Hepatic encephalopathy (mild to moderate): upto 8 ampoules within 24 hours.ChildrenThis medicine is not recommended for use in children since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
How to store L-Ornithine L-Aspartate:Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.• Store at temperature 15 to 30 °C away from light.
* Dosage form and route of administration of L-ornithine L-aspartate Syrup: L-Ornithine L-Aspartate 300mg and L-ornithine L-aspartate Granules: L-Ornithine L-Aspartate 3g should be prescribed according to therapeutic indication and disease severity of each individual patient
