It is used to treat adult patients with depression and/or anxiety disorders. Do not take paroxetine hydrochloride:

How to take paroxetine hydrochloride:
You may need to take one or more or half a tablet; Be sure to follow the instructions below to learn how to take your doses:
If your dose is 10 mg: Take one 10 mg tablet.
If your dose is 20 mg: Take one 20 mg tablet.
If your dose is 30 mg: Take one 30 mg tablet.
If your dose is 40 mg: Take two 20 mg tablets.

Your doctor will tell you the exact dose you need to take and for how long (this can be several months or longer) depending on your condition.
Take the medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
You"ll likely start to feel better within two weeks.

What is paroxetine hydrochloride and what is it used for.
Paroxetine hydrochloride is a medicine that belongs to a class of medicines known as "selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors".
