    • Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
    • You should not increase or decrease your dose without consulting your doctor. The dose is determined by the doctor who adjusts it for you.
    • Dose and dosing frequency must only be changed in consultation with a doctor.
    • If you think that the effect of Flixotide inhalation aerosol is too strong or too weak, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist about this.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

    • Your doctor, healthcare professional or pharmacy staff should show you how to use your inhaler. At regular intervals, they should also check how you are using the inhaler.
    • If you do not use Flixotide  as directed or as prescribed, it may result in the medicine not working properly against your asthma.
    • The medicine is contained in a pressure container which is attached to an inhaler (made of plastic) with a mouthpiece.

    Warnings And Precautions:

    Do not use Flixotide :

    • if you are allergic to fluticasone propionate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

    Do not take more Flixotide :

    • If you experience difficulty breathing or wheezing that gets worse immediately after taking Flixotide .
    • Use your fast-acting medicine to improve your breathing and contact a doctor immediately.
    • It is important that Flixotide is taken regularly, even when the asthma does not cause symptoms.
    • Flixotide is a preventive treatment and should not be used to treat acute attacks of breathing difficulties. The effect of Flixotide  is only achieved after a few days of treatment.
    • Full effect depends on regular use over a long period of time.
    • Contact the doctor if the effect is not achieved.
    • If you have previously used a medicine containing budesonide or beclomethasone and are about to start treatment with Flixotide (which contains fluticasone propionate), the strength of Flixotide  will be lower since the ingredient in Flixotide  is more potent.

    • 50 micrograms/dose.
