Gaviscon Original Analgesic Tablets provide fast, long-lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion.It can be used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which acidic stomach contents flow back up the esophagus, and to treat flatulence caused by GERD.This medicine belongs to a group of medicines called reflux inhibitors.

How to use
Adults and children over 12 years: Take two to four tablets after meals and just before bedtime, or as directed by a doctor.Children under 12 years should not take this product unless advised by a doctor.Suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.If you are taking other oral medications, leave at least two hours between taking this product and other medications.
Warnings and Precautions:
• Do not refrigerate.
• Keep all medicines securely out of the reach of children.
• Patients on a low-sodium diet should consult their doctor before taking this product.
• Patients with known allergies to any of its ingredients should not take this product.
• Patients with phenylketonuria (PKU) should be cautious when using this product.
Ingredients
Each Gaviscon chewable tablet contains: Sodium alginate 250 mg, Sodium hydrogen carbonate 133.5 mg, Calcium carbonate 80 mg. It also contains mannitol E421, macrogols 20,000, copovidone, aspartame E951, cool mint flavor, magnesium stearate, and acesulfame potassium.
These tablets are sugar-free and gluten-free.
