• To treat premenstrual syndrome (also known as premenstrual tension).

Do not take Primolut-N 30 tablets cycle:
• If you are allergic to norethisterone or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• If you have ever had a circulation problem.
• If you have any symptoms of a blood clot.
• If you have any condition that puts you at higher risk of developing a blood clot.
• If you have ever suffered from a migraine headache accompanied by visual disturbances.
• If you suffer (or are recovering) from a liver disease.
• If you have (or have ever had) a liver tumor.
• If you suffer from diabetes with vascular damage.
• If you have any type of cancer.
• If you suffer from problems with genital bleeding, the cause of which is not yet known.
• If you have a condition called endometrial hyperplasia that has not been treated.
• If you have hepatitis C.
• If you suffer from any of the following conditions during pregnancy: yellowing of the skin (idiopathic jaundice of pregnancy) or itching of the entire body (pregnancy pruritus).
