BRIMO Eye Drops Brimonidine Tartrate 0.2% - 5 ml BRIMO Eye Drops are a drop used to reduce pressure inside the eye by producing an aqueous solution. The drop works to reduce eye pressure in the short term to delay surgery for patients suffering from uncontrollable glaucoma, as well as Reducing pressure in the eye that will undergo surgery.
The drops are used to treat glaucoma or glaucoma and high blood pressure inside the eye. The active ingredient brimonidine works selectively on alpha 2 receptors, which are found in the blood vessels inside the eye. This activity works to reduce the production of aqueous fluid present inside the eyeball and work to improve its flow, and as a result Eye pressure decreases.

It is prohibited to use the drops for patients who suffer from hypersensitivity to brimonidine or any other component of the drops. Likewise, the drops are not used for patients who take a monoamine oxidase inhibitor. It is also prohibited to use the drops in the following cases:
