Carbimazole is used to reduce the formation of thyroid hormones in adults and children with hyperthyroidism.
It can be used to restore the normal function of the thyroid gland before its partial removal by surgery.

Do not take carbimazole:
If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
If you are allergic to other antithyroid medicines such as thiamazole, methimazole or propylthiouracil.
If you suffer from problems in the blood.
If you suffer from severe liver disease.
if you have had pancreatitis after taking carbimazole or thiamazole in the past.

Warnings and precautions:
Tell your doctor about all of your health conditions, including:
If you suffer from liver problems.
If you have a decreased activity of the bone marrow (low blood cell counts).
If you are undergoing radioactive iodine treatment.
If you are pregnant, you could be pregnant or may become pregnant.

Possible side effects:
Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; Itch; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue or throat The frequency with which these side effects occur is unknown.

Swollen glands in your mouth.

Store at room temperature below 77°F (25°C).
