Paracetamol belongs to a class of medicines known as analgesics and antipyretics. It is used to relieve the following symptoms:

Headache

Period pain

Back pain

Rheumatic pain (joint pain)

Colds and flu

Sore throat

Mild pain from arthritis

Muscle pain

Toothache

Fever

Do not take paracetamol:

If you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the ingredients in this medicine. Tell your doctor about the allergy and any signs you experience.

If you are taking other products containing paracetamol, make sure you do not exceed the dose.

Warnings and Precautions:

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you experience allergic reactions such as shortness of breath, rash, swelling of the face or neck, low blood pressure, and dizziness.

Be sure to tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, including alcoholic liver disease, or if you have mild arthritis (arthritis) and need to take painkillers daily.

Long-term use of this medicine may be harmful to your liver.

Contact your doctor if your symptoms are not relieved.

Possible side effects:

Possible side effects of paracetamol include signs of an allergic reaction such as a rash, signs of breathing problems such as difficulty breathing, sudden weight loss, nausea, yellowing of the skin and eyes, loss of appetite, and unexplained bleeding or bruising.

If you are taking other medications containing paracetamol.

How to take paracetamol:

Adults, the elderly, and children aged 16 years and over

Take one to two tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain or fever (depending on your condition). Make sure not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Children aged 10-15 years

Take one tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain or fever (depending on your condition). Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Do not give this medicine to children for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor first.

Children under 10 years

Do not give paracetamol tablets to children under 10 years.

Take the tablets with or without food.

Take the tablet with a full glass of water.

Do not take more medicine than directed and do not take the medicine more often than every 4 hours.

How to store paracetamol:

Keep this medicine out of reach of children and pets.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date shown on the carton.

Keep this medicine in its original packaging to protect it from moisture and light.
