Do not use polyethylene glycol/propylene glycol:- If you are allergic to polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, or any of the ingredients in this medicine. Tell your doctor about the allergy and any signs you experience.- If the product appears cloudy or changes color.
Warnings and Precautions:- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine if you are allergic to polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, or any of the ingredients in this medicine.- This medicine is for external use only.Stop using the medication and consult a doctor if you experience eye irritation or redness that worsens or persists for more than 72 hours.Stop using the medication and consult a doctor if you experience changes in your vision or eye pain.If you wear contact lenses, be sure to remove them before applying the eye drops to avoid damaging the lenses.
Possible side effects:
Possible side effects include signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash and itching. Common side effects include blurred vision, mild eye irritation, and burning or stinging.
Other medications and polyethylene glycol/propylene glycol:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications, including eye drops. If you are using more than one eye drop solution, be sure to administer each at least five minutes apart to avoid dripping the eye drops.
How to use polyethylene glycol/propylene glycol:
The recommended dose is one or two drops in the affected eye(s) as needed. Wash your hands. Remove the bottle cap. Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid down to create a pocket. Hold the bottle over your eye with the tip facing down. Look up and away from the bottle, then squeeze the container to release a drop. Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes with your head facing down, making sure not to blink. Gently press the corner of your eye for about a minute. Be sure to replace the cap after each use.Ensure the tip of the container does not touch any surface to avoid contamination.Space out the drops for at least 5 minutes.
How to store polyethylene glycol/propylene glycol:
- Store the eye drops at room temperature.- Discard the bottle one month after opening.- Keep out of reach of children and pets.- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the carton.- Protect from light.- Do not dispose of in wastewater or household waste.
